I need to get a good inline fan (or 2) to cool my Super Sun 2 hoods. I
have 2 going now and will have a total of 4 in the near future. All are
running 1000 watt bulbs. The room is sealed so the ducting will run from
the floor on one side of the room, up to the lights, out of the room, and
than outside. The exit to the outside is on the same floor as the room.
I'm thinking of going with Vortex but if anyone has any other suggestions,
I'd be happy to hear them. Their 8" 747 CFM looks nice but I don't know
if it will be big enough or overkill.
Also, what do I use for a filter where the intake ducting starts? I'd really like
to keep dust, bugs, and other crap out of the cooling system. I've been told
a nylon stocking works but if anyone knows of anything more professional
thats made to use as an intake filter, please post a link.
