need help please!

hey is 82f ish (can get up to 88f when i have the door shut) to hot for my plant? its nearly a month old had it under 2 shitty strip lights, but today got a 250w cfl! my cupboard is 2 foot wide and 4 foot high, i have a fan on for the18 hours of light then off for 6. dont have an extractor fan but regulary have the door open to drop the temp a bit. the light is about 4-5 inches from the top of the plant. any help would be braw - cheers

yes and no... really only you can answer that question , if its to hot your plant is gonna let you know. a fan or multiple fans cant be a bad thing i have never had any problems with over circulation or a nice cool room......

82-88 a little on the warm side for me, I like 75, that 250 watt cfl might even raise the temp even more, Id attempt to regulate it with a fan, maybe two, and experiment with temperatures, last thing you would want to do is harm the little girls. A small 12v computer fan can do wonders stuck on the side on a grow room, vent all the rising warm air out of the grow room. Just an idea. hope that helps happy toking

in my experience, thats been pretty hot for my ladies indoors. but if they arent showing signs of stress, then maybe they like it. i recomend leaving the fan on the whole time, plants grow most right before the light comes on.

cheers guys! i cleared oot the rest of the closet and still no drop in temp! they seem to be going good though - although i have notice the very tips of the top leaves are starting singe a little - how far should i have the top of the plant to the light? also ive vegged for about a month think its cool for me to start flowering - i cant wait to flower!
