Need help please!!

Hey everyone, so this is my first tent grow and my plants are startin to how nitro toxicity and what I thought was a cal-mag deficiency but am wondering if you think I'm lacking phosphorous as well as I'm having some reddish leaf stems where the problem is occurring. Here are some pics, I'm in 3rd week of flower under a 600 hps cool tube, I just got a inline yesterday as my temps were in 90s during light. Due to my small tent that I had to move into, I didnt anticipate having to have to have smaller plants, so I have to hang the light in the tent door(picture of my set up drawn half assed below). I need a dehumidifier but can't get one till Friday I have times where it's 70~80% and other times it's 30% so I will keep it under 40% startig Friday on. in 5 gal, using technaflora flower reciept and was at 3/4 strength with signs startin then gave it full strength nutes Sunday and this is what I've got now... In foxfarm happy frog with a little miracle grow to top the pot off on the bottom. I know I need to flush, but my soil was still wet yesterday on top so I figured I would wait until today to flush. Ph always at 6.5 on intake and haven't tested runoff. Any advise would be great as I'm a newbie this is only 2nd grow. Thanks. I have noticed some fungas nats also

The leaves are getting crispy feeling as well on the affected leaves. It's also on most of my biggest leaves in the center of the plant.

lol sounds like you're clueless... is it cal mg is it nitro is it phosphorus? i dont know?

ok temps = bad, fix asap. anything under 80 is acceptable. humidity = bad, fix asap. anything under 50% is acceptable. plant is super pissed at you obviously.

looks like you had some bad nitrogen claw going there. typically with toxicity the leave will yellow after being green and clawing like that, and the biggest leaves ill be affected first, but im not convinced the rest of your plant is not green enough looking for it to really be nitrogen toxity... now the leaves are yellowing and dying... looks like classic case of nute burn. you definitely need to test the runoff, though a real ph meter would be better. Or you can topdress lime into the soil at 1.5tbsp per gallon of soil and that will buffer it to near 6.5 and you dont have to guess what's happening.

red leaf stems are typically a genetics thing and is hard to use as a diagnosing tool... the leaves are much better to diagnose from.

im willing to bet your soil Ph is out of wack.

why do people use miracle grow. STOP THIS FOREVER and EVER. no excuses

more nutes is not always the answer with stressed looking plants and you should always diagnose properly before adding shit to the pot because that can compound the problem!!

how do you know you need to flush? the claw looks like it happened during week 1 and 2 of flower.... but now the plant is losing its green color... what week in flower are you in?

I'm in week 4 of flower. The claw did happen a week or so ago. I added more nutes bc I was giving it about 1/2 to 3/4 strength due to the fox farm already being slammed with stuff. My drawling shows tht my light is outside of the tent hanging in the door. My exhaust fan was just set up yesterday and haven't had te chance to check the temps with te lights on. And I do think there is more than one thing going on here that's why I stated a few things I thought it was. I was just looking for some advise man.. I need to flush I think bc I might of a nute lock. I was trying to be on te safe side w nutes and this happened so I figured the nutes in the happy frog had been used up so I started to add more nutes to 100% that's why I thought I should add. I do use a real ph meter it's at 6.5 everytime before I water. Also on a feed, 4days, ph adj water, 3 days, ph adj water, 3 days feed.

The brown patches are salt burn caused by the medium you used. Try a good coco mix next time so your leaves are green and full till the end giving you a heavier harvest.

That would be my attempt at trying to drawl you an example of my setup bc i wasn't sure if my light being in the tent door was causin some of this with heat.

As for the salt, can I do anything to help the plant out through the rest of the cycle?

Not really mate, the damage is done and the soil is salty. Flushing may help. the last thing you want is leaves yellowing into the bud itself. This yellowing all the way into the bud from the leaf will affect the quality and quantity of the harvest. I get green leaves till the end using canna terra medium .

I will flush and report back in a week. Should I add anything to the water to flush other than adjust the ph?

Thanks as well. Greatly appreciated. My leaves on buds are still green. I'm hoping I can save her with 2 good flushing a of water.

don't take anything i say personal, just trying to give the advice and
you should check your run off ph next time you water. you need to water with 25% run off every time you water or you get the buildup bad. Also topdressing your soil with dolomite lime will get the Ph right where it needs to be right now (6.5 is best for soil and thats where the lime will put it). you don't need to get coco next time, just use a good dolomite lime in your soil and it will keep the ph under control, at a rate of 1-2 tbsp of dolomite per gallon of soil. mix in and be worry free the lime can not burn your plants. feed clean water for the rest of her time since she's so burnt. probably lots of nutes in that soil still. flush away you should get a PPM pen as well, it will tell you the amount of total dissolved solids that you are feeding, and what's coming out in your run off. good tool for knowing where you are at with the nutes. the cheap 15$ ones on amazon work fine

Thank you! I do have a ppm pen but wasn't sure really how to use it (meaning what ppm should it be after I mix all these nutes together as each think I mix in has a dif ppm?) I was just following the tsp per gallon rule. I flushed her last night and also put lots more holes in my container to get more run off as I think it was staying wet to long from not having enough places to drain from. I was taking it a little personal lol but these are my babies. I'm just a newbie trying to learn and I appreciate all of your help and advise! You have been a huge help! I flushed it with 6.5 ph water and she's in a 5g so I flushed with 12g of ph water. Do you think I shouldn't use any nutes on her for the rest of the time? I have 2 others that don't have this but they are skinny sativas of same strain and one has super dark leaves and the other is startig to yellow from bottom up and neither of those have the claw. Just my big Indy. Hoping she recovers and still puts out some quality skunk. She's sticky as hell, but the dehumidifier goes in tomorrow morning when I get paid and my setup is complete. All I need to do now is dial her in and with your guys help I should get there. Like I said I appreciate the advise very much. I'll post pics of the other two later and my setup so you can compare it to my sketchy drawling for fun lol.
