Hey heis ive read your tea thread and its great info but what if you have more than one 55 gal
Res is it still cheeper? I mean 1cup per gal. Thats 55 cups and if theres x2 res thats 110 cups
And it takes so long to breed them, im trying to see and understand cus i would like to try it
Just seem like i would have to have a huge res to brew this stuff in
Something we have found in the slime thread is that if you are not currently fighting slime, but just trying to prevent it, you can scale the tea back to as little as 1 cup per 10 gallon. I have even heard of one 100+ gallon system that uses only 1/2 cup per 10 gal. In the case of huge systems we want to pour or spray the tea directly onto the root crown and net cup once in a while. You still want to make sure your cuttings and young plants are well inoculated, but once they develop a nice root ball and especially after they enter bud, there is room for a lot of slack. Of course this pertains to a non-organic setup.
As long as my cuttings receive a nice inoculation of mycos they will have formed an extensive network by the time they enter bud, and I honestly could get away with brewing one batch every two weeks. We have also found that big systems such as yours, are for whatever reason, slightly more resistant to slime than smaller ones, and do not need as much inoculation even when disease is present.
