need help with clone pls.

hi all,
Ok could someone tell me how to cut a plant and make it a mother plant for cloning only.Im new at growing and a friend of mine told me to cut some of his plants to get clones.i took 9 of them but i guess i cut them wrong as you can see in the pics i dont have a main stem.Are these going to bud up ok or is there any way to fix or grow them to make good size buds.Thank you for taking the time to read this.

how long ago did you take the clones? these look fine but i would change the soil and go with ocean forest.

This is my first time ever growing.I took them 2 weeks ago left them in water for 8 days and they been in the soil for 6 days.Yea about the soil ive been reading alot and i will be changing the way i did things next time.I wish i would of come across this web site before i started.

take a look at my grow journal in my signature, it is all clones but Iu have them in a hydro/aero hybrid unit.

Thank you jesus could you or anyone post a link that could show me how to sog or(scrog?).i would like to try it with my clones and just want to know if it is as simple as just putting down a screen over them or if i have to train them to spread out under it.what i will be using is soil and 400 x2 hps lights.
