Need help with my very first grow ..

hey, its my first time growing weed i got like 5 (plants) lowryder #2 AFs (ALL FEMALES) under one (400w hps) 4 of them are in trap since 4 weeks and the 5th one has been there for over 5 weeks and the oldest one of them is showing those white hair that the buds start growing from but no real sign of buds all i see his those lil white hair all over the plant and for now my light cycle is 18hrs on/ 6hrs off should i decrease it to 12/12 to make it flower or what ?? and im only feeding them with organic tomatto food and watering them with water. is that enough ?? all of my plants look healthy and the clarity is excellent and they are pretty bushy and tall but im still worried if they would bring me weed ill go snap some shots tonight and will paste them here asap to show you guys whats really going on like what i wanna know is that should i change light cycle to make them flower or AFs will flower themselves even with 18/6 cycle ??

and yeah they r SUPPOSED to be completed in 8-9 weeks thats what the store told me who sold me those seeds and i got one more question does these weed plants take 4 weeks to reach the age where they start producing buds (weed) and take 4-5 weeks to complete producing weed in total 8-9 weeks or what ?? and i KNOW that it all depends on conditions like soil ph and nutes and ventilation and lights but what about the seeds that claim to produce 700-900grams/sqm in 8-10 weeks ???? is it even possible to grow 700-900grams/sqm in 10 weeks and yeah this is my first time doing this shit ..

your autos will flower on any light cycles, but i done 24/7 and they see to like 18/6 better. no need to go to 12/12. what type of soil are you useing? most already have nutes in it. if your seeing white hairs then you got females. the 400 watt is good, it will do fine. i would think about getting better nutes for your plants. there many out there on the market, i use pro bloom pure blend. works good. also dont feed them nute every watering, i do every other watering, and some time every 3rd watering. this keeps the nutes building up in soil.

that is a projected mature date, thats not set in stone. iv had them go as far 75- 80 days. and more, it all depends on the strain, as for the wieght autos are hybreds and are unstable. iv seen them grow 18-20 inches tall, then iv seen them grow no bigger that a cig... lighter. so that wieght is just there guess. most are close to being right. but dont believe every thing you read on the back of package. o and i have never seen one grow over a couple of oz's so. hope it helps

im kind of sure that i wont get more than 6oz off of these 5 lowryder diesel (genetics: new york city diesel x lowryder #2) plants that im growing but its my first time so i m more focus on producing buds than on quantity i just wanted to see for myself if i can grow weed if i succeed than ill give it another try with bigger plants.

I'm getting ready to do 5 auto-assassins and 5 auto-kabalas and i've done quite a bit of research on the subject. I would stick with the 18/6 light regime, I am going to do 20/4 in hopes that they grow bigger for a better yield, yet to be seen it's my first auto grow, but since you already have a cycle going you don't want to light stress em. Another thing is to make absolutely sure that your dark stage is totally dark with NO light leaking in at all, even a little light might be confusing the plant. If you are using miracle grow or something similar I would use it at least once a week but every 3-5 days with a mild solution is what I use. Most of the auto grows that I see, people are getting anywhere from 1/2 oz to 2 oz per plant it all depends on how big that particular plant grows. Good luck with it.
