Need help with setup- Cant find answers in the forums.

Hello Everyone,

Ive looked and looked for an answer to my question but cant seem to find one. My question is:

Would a 6.5 x 6.5 x 6.5 be better than a 4 x 8 x 6.5?

I will be running 1200 Watts. ( 2 x 600 watt hps). With this setup which grow room size would be better to accommodate plants with the lighting I have. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance =P

If I had two 600w lamps with good reflectors, I would go with the 4' x 8' layout, as one lamp will nicely cover a 4' x 4' area. There is a stickie under one of the sub forums about lighting that should explain why this suggestion would work for you a 600w should easily provide the right light for a 4' x 4', so 2 time 4' x 4' would be an 4' x 8'. the height sounds OK, but not if growing a straight sativa plant unless you are topping or training.
