Hello everyone, I am not a new grower, but I am finally going to make my own grow tent, before I was just helping my buddies get there grows start and such, more like the research guy. Yet none of them are using hid lighting and I wanted to be the first. However I will still use cfls for veg. For veg I am going to just give each plant 92w 6500k lights(instead of the 138w I have set my buddies with per plant using 3 2700k and 3 6500k per light all 23w bulbs) they will have their own reflectors made of Mylar, is that enough light. I want to just grow 6 plants, Would a 32" by " be enough room(its all Mylar)? Also should I put my cfl grow light is there for flowering just to give more light? For flower I was going to use 600w hps,with a cool tube. One question I have do I need a carbon filter on the outtake part of light (there will already be an outtake used 350cfm)? also how long should I run an outtake, for the grow box( not the light), all the time sound good? I was just going to use Jack Classics All Purpose(20-20-20) for veg and Jacks Bloom-Booster for flowering as nutes. Is there any other nutes I should add as well? I was going to use 4 gallon pots because my tent would only be 6' tall so the max size of my plant will only be about 4' feet. Should I scrog to create a more larger colas, and to save space, should I move plants around still? if so should I start the scrog in veg or veg until it reaches the height of net( 20" above net)? Should I make the next higher or lower given that will only have about 4 feet to work with. Also how close should I keep the hid, I know with cfls its 2-3", I have heard about 20 inches does that sound too close or too far? I might make a mother/ clone room also. For that I was just going to make it out of a dresser using cfls constant at 18/6). Clone of course would have there own clear container with a small cup of water with an air stone to keep humidity up. Lights will be the same cfls used for veg.I would only have 3 strains going so three mothers. I know this is a lot being thrown out at once, if you could help me with my flaws that would be awesome, don't be afraid bag on my newbitity, I like any kind of criticism. Any comments of any sort will be helpful, just because I am such a new grower(only have about 3 months under the belt.)
PS, my friends dresser grow is about to be ready in the upcoming weeks we lst'd, super cropped and topped, so they are 2 bushy plants. One is Larry Og, the other is dead head og. The Dead Head is looking fine as hell, plus its my favorite strain.
