Need quieter fan

I currently have a 20 dollar fan from home depot that pulls air through my sealed hood. It works great but its freeking LOUD... it pulls like 150 cfm and its louder then my 424cfm vortex fan.... Anyway i either need to know if i can split my fan controller or what would be a VERY quiet fan that be able to handle my 250W HPS sealed hood

its an inline fan by the way.. i just need to connect to 6 in ducting .. maybe even a 4 with a stepup

so your saying i should save up for a vortex instead of getting a valueline centrifugal?

I have to worry about sound also

im not sure , my vortex is mad quiet. a very good way to control sound is a fan controller. make it a must with your fan when you buy it
