Need Some Bho Extraction Advice

hey everyone i made some hash yay... but i had a few complications im hoping someone with a little more experience could help me. the hash came out alright just not exactly how i wanted it to. i was trying to make budder but it didnt exactly budder up because the bud wasnt good enough

ok so here's what i did ....

for the extractor i had a foot long and an inch wide steel toob with a pvc cap on one end and on the other i put some 125 mesh count silk screen on the other

for the butane i used colbi and then i had a can of neon laying around that i was going to use if i needed a little extra

ok so i shot three of the colbi cans through the extractor toob i emptied the first can and nothing came out the other end so i did the other two can and a little came out so i figured i packed the weed in to tight so i dumped it all out and shot the can of neon through it and with the hole can of neon nothing came out and thats my main problem

then i put a pan of hot water under it to purge it i did that three or four times then i took it to the stove and put it over boiling water and started whipping it

i couldnt get it to budder up im pretty sure it was because it wasnt good weed but it came out alright its a gold color you can play with it in your hands for a lil

the main problem i had was loosing some of the hash because the butain wasnt coming out anyone got any ideas what it could be maby a better extractor

any help would be apreciated

the butane is either condensing in the tube or evaping out the top of the tube before it gets to the bottom

i use a inch by foot and half copper pipe and i stuff it to the brim with a ream and i have to ream out the material as well its so packed

just go to a hardware store copper piping should be easy to obtain

and how much material did you use?

like 18 g of shake and nugs and i use a steel pipe

do you think i should pack it in there more?

no not really just make sure its a taught pack


the problem is your only using 18g's for a run your only gonna get a half gram or so maybe a gram to gram and half if its good stuff


another problem you should use 1 can of butane for 50 grams of material usually butane cans are about 480 - 500 ml of butane

i use 10ml of solvent for 1 gram of material

if your doing small runs like that you want a small small extracter like a half inch by half foot copper pipe or steel if you prefer

to much of your butane is getting recondensed in the open section of room before it gets to the material

putting your self in a position for setting of a compression bomb in your hands

haha dam i never thought of that how would that change if its copper?

oh and the three colbi cans were really small thats why i used all three

Did you have any leaking out of the top where the can was going into your extractor? With only 18g of material one can should be more than enough to blast through. Got any pics?
