Need some encouragement

Well I'm off to a presbyterian church to work for another 7-10 hours of community service. Only in a America they send you to work with old people in churches for a total of 240 hours for selling weed. I'm just finding it hard to get motivated to get all these hours done. I wonder what the judge is going to say. Been clean and out of outpatient 6 months now. Just got raped with the plea bargain cause I'm young and I didn't get a felony. I got around a hundred hours done after today. another hundred and fourty to go.

Nobody got you into this position except you. Do your time with a good attitude and be positive. Things will get better for you when you start making better decisions. Head up, that's it...... Go now, and sin no more.

Sucks for you man! Hows that for encouragement?!
I had to work 75 hours for bein caught drunk with like a blunt of weed.
Luckily I got to do it all @ a golf course, it was the shit. I just drove a golf cart on the driving range that picked up golf balls. Best community service ever.

But dude, you'll be fine. Thats better than going to jail. Is it going to stay on your record and everything? You could probably get it expunged....?

First off, if you dodged a felony conviction and instead got loaded down with community service, it is no where near as bad as it could have been. Count your blessings. You might have served your time picking up trash at the side of the road in an orange jumpsuit with the other convicts.

Second, you say you must go spend a bunch of time with old people. What a great opportunity! Geezers vote. They also get sick quite often and are very concerned with medical issues. Study up on the benefits of medical cannabis and start spreading the gospel of weed. Start deprogramming their wrinkled asses.

From NORML's Statement on the Medical Use of Marijuana:
Modern research suggests that cannabis is a valuable aid in the treatment of a wide range of clinical applications.[4] These include pain relief -- particularly of neuropathic pain (pain from nerve damage) -- nausea, spasticity, glaucoma, and movement disorders.[5] Marijuana is also a powerful appetite stimulant, specifically for patients suffering from HIV, the AIDS wasting syndrome, or dementia.[6] Emerging research suggests that marijuana's medicinal properties may protect the body against some types of malignant tumors[7] and are neuroprotective.[8]

You might even print out that document and leave it laying around at the church.

Best of luck to you.
