Need Some Feedback on Closet Grow Space

Hello, I've searched around and have some ideas for a closet i'd like to grow in. Its 23'' deep, 6' tall. I am probably going to use CFL's so as to not have to deal with heat. Also it will be in a box plastered with Mylar. Now my questions are
1. What wattage to use, and what housing to Y split the bulbs
2. Hydro or Soil for this space?
I'm going to be LST'ing these, but is that only possible in a soil pot? or is there someway to LST with Hydro

I am very excited to get going on this

2 400w hps and a 16''fan


Get as many watts of cfl as you can. I'd say soil for a beginner. I love growing in dirt!

hey if i was you i would use the cfls u planned on doing also id use soil y do i say soil because soil is awsome lolz
jks aside i say soil because i b elieve itll be easier for u also hydro supplies can be very costly
oh remember to makes good drainage soil also dont over water only water like every two days also dont over fertalize im only trying to prevent the mistakes i made i hope ur grow goes awsome for you peace

skip the cfls and go with some vertically oriented fluorescents. t5s or t8s are the way to go.
