Need some GDP grow room advice

Im not new to growing but ive been out of it for a while.

I want to build a small grow room for grand daddy purple and could use a bit of advice.

What I want is a room that will hold 1 mother plant, a clone area and 4-6 mature flowering plants without pruning or training.

The problem is im limited in building space and dont really want it too cramped.
What is the minimum width and hight I would need for this?

The area im looking at is around 3'x 6' floor area, tent style.

Also... As far as getting seeds these days, whats a good trustworthy provider of these seeds?

Well that's definitely tight on space. I am gonna ask a bunch of questions, so bear with me. I wanna help.

You don't possibly have another area for the veg tent? If not we will see what we can do but the options get smaller for your flower area.

Do you have good ventilation options in your room? (pics of the room would be very helpful, help us help you)

What type of lighting will you use (is it hot)?

Do you have ample power in that room?

How hot / cold does that room get on it's own? Does it have AC? Is your climate humid?

Any budget constraints? This can get expensive.

You going to grow in soil or hydro? Tell us about your plans.

Do you have access to a floor drain?

What about water? How good is your tap water (PPM)? Do you have plans for an RO filter? Do you have easy access to water in that room?

Throw us all the information you think we can handle.

GDP is a crapshoot strain and really has no bearing on your grow room environment
Build it and they will come

Yeah I haven't had a GDP that impressed me. Some have a tendency to toss bananas too.

As to the seed banks question, I asked my homie that is the seed guy and he said these have all been good to him.

Ok lots of questions! I hope I get them all.
Lets see...

1. Not really a lot of other areas... The room im looking at could do a 9' x 5' max probably.

2. Standard house ventilation... It does have a window.

3. I have about 12 2 x 4 four tube T5 fixtures for veg. I have a 400W MH. Would like to go fluorescent for veg and idk, MH for flower?

4. There is power.

5. No AC, temp is normally around 10-20c not terribly humid, Canadian east coast.

6. Cheap as possible... We barely scrape by.

7. Soil for now, would like to go to a DWC at some point but its far to pricey for the time, water coolers etc.

8. No floor drain but can make one easily enough.

9. Water comes from a 55' well. Idk the ppm but its pretty clean drinking water. RO down the road.
There is easy access to the water.

On the matter of the strain being hit or miss... Thats a huge concern of mine.
The cost of seeds is a weeks pay for me.

Is there anything more reliable with a similar profile?

Were looking for a good couch lock indica, medical type.
As potent as possible (we could out smoke willy nelson )
Something smelly and sticky, and I tend to like the more colourful strains, thats why ive wanted to try GDP for years.

Being in Canada you may wanna try and hook up with another grower on here and get a clone. That could save you a lot of hassle. Seeds being a gamble in more ways than one.

I would figure out two tents that can fit, one for a mother and clones and another for your flowering area.

Well water will likely be high PPM. This will usually mean a lot of calcium. I would suggest having the well water tested, you probably do that regularly. See what the PPM of the water is as well as what is in it. You may or may not have to filter it provided the levels aren't too high which could cause lockouts. Calcium and Magnesium can be problematic if out of balance. Iron can cause issues too.

You should probably stick with quality LED lighting for heat reasons. Timber, HLG, BC Blondes up there in Canada are all good lights. Don't buy cheapo LED. There are ways to save a buck if you are good with your hands, lots of DIY builds in the LED section.

That 400 watter would make a good light for your veg tent provided heat doesn't become an issue.

As to strains, if you can get the MAC 1 Capulator breeder cut, that shits the bomb for what you like. I am not into color because many purple plants are less than impressive. Not saying you can't find a good one but it's hard and they tend to yield less.
