Need some good advice !

Hi guys, well into my build now and originally was going to use a wilma 9 pot hydro under 2 x 600w in the space but i think the space could be used better. I am now thinkin ebb and flow as the pots can be spaced to my requirments (i think?!) and the wilma is set close together. i was thinkin 8 nicely spaced 2 gallon pots(ebb and flow) with the 2x600w inline over them.This is also in a loft space so was also wondering if hydro is ok for loft or too much hassle? i would do soil but i like how the plants are gettin nutrients at regular intervals, rather than just once a day. i am going for absolute max yield!in which hydro claims to be better, i was also lookin into magnum xxl hoods, has anyone got these and do they improve yield if everythin else is donr and workin correctly? any help/advice would be great cheers
