ceestyle Well-Known Member May 8, 2008 #2 nute burn generally gives yellow/brown leaf tips and fringes, and hooking of leaves in more extreme cases. high temp will slow growth. visible signs are curled leaf edges, and if caused by direct lamp heat, yellowing of upper leaves.

L leafsmell Active Member May 8, 2008 #3 cheers for the info....deffo got nute burn. its high temp cus of good weather not direct from the lamp, but havent got much curling of the leaves. What will high temps eventually do if not controlled? Oh fyi plants are at the end of 2nd w/k of flower.

GrnMan Well-Known Member May 8, 2008 #6 How high is it? What it should be to you might not be the same for me.
L leafsmell Active Member May 8, 2008 #7 24 degrees c / 75 degrees f is what i have been told it should go no higher than. it is at 31 degrees c / 88 degrees f bit worried as they have been doing really well upto know no problems apart from this.

GrnMan Well-Known Member May 8, 2008 #8 Ouch...I try to never let my temps get above 85. I keep them at 78..sometimes it gets to 82. 91 is pretty much sudden death for them and you aren't too far from that. How do the leaves look? Are they starting to crumble at the ends?

L leafsmell Active Member May 8, 2008 #9 No, only the leaves at the bottom that i believe have nute burn. Otherwise they are o.k
