If you want a GREAT soil mix and nutes to use, both of which will grow prize pot plants, send me a PM. Either that, or use the search engine. Its been posted many times here in the Newbie forum.

OK ... here's the soil mix:

2 parts Schultz's "Potting Soil Plus."
1 part Vermiculite. (retains moisture)
1 part Perlite. (lets the soil breath)
1 part Worm Castings. (Pot plants love this stuff)
For every two gallons of soil mix, add one SMALL handful of Granulated Dolomite Lime. (stabilizes PH throughout the grow)

This soil mix will have enough nutrients in it to last for your first 45 days of vegging.

Here's the nutes:

Vegging: Peter's "Jack's Classic All Purpose" 20-20-20.
Flowering: Peter's "Jack Classic Blossom Booster" 10-30-20.

Do not exceed 1/4 strength with the nutes ... EVER or you will burn your plants.

Here's where to order the nutes via mail: http://www.jacksclassic.com/all_purpose.html

Here's some info on Schultz's potting soil: http://www.schultz.com/ProductCategories/Soilsamendments/PottingSoilPlus/

The Perlite, Vermeculite, Granulated Lime and Worm Castings should be available through your local nursery. You may have to search for the Schultz potting soil. I used to buy mine from the local Albertson's market in their nursery department.

If you use this soil mix and the nutes I suggested, you will grow some really prized plants.

Good luck ...
