Need some help with white rhino

Hello all,

I am not a complete newbie, but still learning hydro. I grew Ortega for a year in soil and then switched to hydro in an Ebb and Gro setup. All was perfect with this setup and I am now switching over to White Rhino (Greenhouse) and Pineapple Express (G13). To start I tried to keep everything the same as with the Ortega. With Ortega I kept the PH at about 5.8 and the PPM around 600 for veg and 800-900 for flowering. I am however finding that although the Pineapple Express seems to handle this without trouble, the Rhino is not so accustomed to it.

Since then I have tried with slightly higher and slightly lower PH, all the way down to 5.5 and all the way up to 6.5 but I am still not seeing any results. The problem I am seeing is that the White Rhino has generally stunted growth, and the tips of the leaves end up getting yellow or brown spots on the edges, and they look very wrinkly. This is more obvious in veg, but in flowering I found that the leaves on the Rhino are a pale green and almost yellow throughout the flowering phase. I am growing both strains in the same circulating system, and the Pineapple has not had any problems with just about anything I throw at it, yet the Rhino I cannot seem to satisfy. I am using Humbolt Grow, Micro, and Bloom in both veg and flowering, and I added Humboldt Myco Madness and Honey to the veg a week ago, and honey to the flowering. The only noticeable result of this addition was faster growth in veg, but still the same problems I mentioned. Here are some pictures of the veg plants. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

looks like the rhino is a bit sensitive compared to p.exp. Back of nutes and waterings by about 25% on the rhino.

I have never grown Greenhouse White Rhino, but Nirvana White Rhino is my dominant strain I grow. White rhino DOES NOT like nutes that much in my opinion. Try using only a 1/4 to a 1/2 if you must use any at all. Also, recheck the ph of the soil after adding nutes, I noticed that PH tends to be easily changed with the rhino.

I also forgot to mention that I have never had any trouble with cloning until growing the Rhino. The Ortega I grew, and Pineapple Express both root quick and vigorous with a very low failure rate, whereas the rhino struggles to root and has a high failure rate. Also, these plants in the pictures have been in those containers for 7 or so weeks (as you can see some are large and well but most of the Rhino is stunted and showing problems). For the first two weeks I didn't add any nutes at all, but then went to a relatively low dose. Any other input is greatly appreciated. I am thinking I may drop this strain, but I'd really rather learn through this experience to expand my knowledge.

Thanks
