need some lighting advice for my space.

hey guys, i've got a 4x8 grow tent that's 6.5 feet tall. i'm currently running two 1000w lights. is that overkill? would I be better suited doing two 600w?

1000W light for each 4'x4' area in the 4'x8' rectangle sounds good to me. Just make sure you have somewhere for that heat to go! You should have wonderful coverage!

what do you think i should do plant wise? im using soil.
