need some questions answered

Hi,
I am planning to regenerate 4 plants and i need your help.
I have already harvested the top half of the plants 2 weeks ago.
Then i dropped the lights left them on 12/12 planning to harvest lower portions tomorow. Also i am going to transplant them in new soil.
Here are my 2 questions try and answer both if you can.
1. How much growth should i leave (how many branches of bud)?
2. Where does the new growth begin on the main stem or where?
Thanks guys i didn't get as much bud as i hoped because i was forced to harvest early
and it was my first grow. I got about 1 ounce so far going for more tomorow
should be atleast another 1/2.

you need to leave some branches, cause where the leaf sets in the bud, thats where the new leafs will grow from.you can trim the tips of the buds off and leave some stem and leaf. i would leave some . so for your second question , the new growth does not resprout on the stem. so turn on your lamp 24 hours a day to regen.

I believe green is good is right if you want a second cycle from the plants you should revert them back to veg get them healhy and big then switch it back to flower......i wouldnt do eather options but if i was i think thats what id do....
