Im going to start out with that ive grown successfully a few times before. Just different methods.
So im going to list what i got and my variables.
-going on 4 1/2 weeks (bag-seed)
-in organic potting soil
-under 3 Daylight 23w/100w, 6500k and 1450 lumens each, 24/7
-in-take and exhaust fan in place
-homemade CO2 producer
-10 inch tall oscillating fan
-humidifier
-ph meter
-Measurements done with gallons
-avg temp 70-78 F, avg humidity 55%-68%
-have had them on distilled water for the first 3 weeks (7.0 ph)
-started feeding MG Houseplant food 8-7-6 at 1/4 strength ( I know MG is not the greatest, but i can work)
(feeding once a week with that till there was run off.)
- went to switch ph to 6.5 some how dropped to 5.6 and my meter read it incorrectly.
(so one watering of that) noticed black spots popping up on alot of the old growth.
so went and put the meter back in the water surely 5.6 O.O (too acidic for soil)
-so i flushed them with distilled ph of 7.0
-instantly got new distilled water and now correct ph of 6.5
Its been a week now and the leaves with the spots have just died off, starting to notice some leaf tips are curling up. Everything thats going on is on the old growth. Yellowing of some of the leaves, black spots.
ive done my fair share of research to figure out what deficiency it may be, and im still baffled.
- close to about 4 weeks i watered with 1/4 Miracle grow solution and foiler fed with epsom salt water solution (1/2 teaspoon epsom salt to a gallon)
-about 4 days from that watering i watered with distilled ph 6.5
- 2 days from that foiler fed with epsom salt water. (which is when i posted this)
which is where im at now, problem still exists
im going to attach some pictures
I believe that i may need to wait another week, and another flush.
that the acidic water i used that one time messed them up (and its guna take a lil while to recover)
maybe a little nitrogen deficient ????? maybe magnesium deficient????
