Needing to temporarily move my plants for a day

So my plants are in veg right now. About to flip this weekend. Appraiser is coming tomorrow to inspect the house. I rent.

Luckily only 8 medium sized plants.

Appraiser is supposed to come at 1:30pm.

Their light cycle is
Lights off 11am-5pm
Lights on- 5pm-11am

It's supposed to be 45F outside tonight. Will they be okay if I just stash them in my girlfriend's van overnight with a tarp set up over them and just make them have 12 hours of dark and start the flowering then?

What would you guys do? It's such an awkward situation for the girls lol

Also, would you just start the darkness process before you go to bed tonight or early tomorrow morning or whichever is easiest? I just feel as if I'm messing with the light cycle I might as well just make the switch tomorrow or w.e

They will be fine doing what you said.

Sketchy as fuck but can be done. They also don't need grow lights to maintain a light schedule. A flashlight would keep them in check at least if u need a light but IDK how obvious a light inside your van would be.

Yup they will be fine. I would just throw them outside and not bother with anything special because I'm lazy and the plants would be fine anyways.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I was thinking of throwing a maglight flash light under the tarp if needed. I'm not worried bout the van getting broken overnight or anything just sketched out for my ladies being in shock. I know they won't be happy but as long as it won't scare them into become hermies or anything. I might just leave them in the dark for 24 and reset their light cycle to the proper flower times that I want

Can't throw them outside because they're in coco bags lol!

I think he has to worry about someone seeing them. Therefore the van and the tarp and the sketchy shit

Anything involving a van is just sketchy even if you're not sketchy
In that case I would get an invisibility cloak like the one in Harry potter (true story btw) and drape it over the plants. Or accidentally pepper spray the appraiser so he/she can't see shit.

Or just put them all in ur bathtub with the exhaust fan going and just say you have a stomach bug and can't get off the shitter. Have ur gf show the rest of the house

With covid and all the new rental regulations I'm sure you have more pull in this situation during these times. Simply saying your sick will expedite this property check .

I know it's been said but they'll be fine without any torch you need a series of prolonged dark spells to trigger flowering, be careful not to be seen or smelt going to from the van I expect it'll be Stinky.
Best of luck with it all!

I would release a ton of mice inside the house to scare off the appraiser. To get rid of the mice i would then release a few snakes to eat them. After the mice are gone i would buy a couple snake eating gorillas to take care of the snakes. Wait for winter to kill off the gorillas and you are good to start flowering the plants.

Those battery powered lanterns are great for giving just enough light to keep the plants awake when they should be.

I've never had any nor heard of anyone having issues interrupting a light/dark cycle during veg. One day of prolonged darkness then back to normal veg cycle wont do anything, rigging up some kind of light is a waste of time but do whatever makes you feel better.

Think about maybe if you had a small fan to put under the tarp because the tarp will probably lock in moisture. Also I've put hot water in water bottles and set them on top of the soil every hour or so after dark when it gets a little colder than I'd like.
