Neem cake

I have neem cake in my soil recipe, I am wondering if it has the same benefits as neem oil in terms of keeping the pest away or if it's 2 completely different things? thanks

Personally I didn't like the neem oil. I like the neem meal. Tastes better...

Thanks! So I am about to put another layer of supersoil over my plants... and I have 2 plants in a small dresser that are not doing so well, I think it could have been from spider mites and deficiency.

So I am planning on mixing supersoil, worm castings and neem cake for the top dressing. If they don't get worst from it I will do the same things with my 3 plants downstairs
