yes, once your plant is in its vegetative stage you have no problems using neem. try to spray under the leaves. You can use until 2 weeks before harvest, just spray your plants with clean water afterwards and maintain a clean enviroment

no!!! these are seperate issues, spraying them before you take care of the powdery mildew will exacerbate that problem. IMO. VV

The Neem oil is great stuff,
It can be even used on clones (cuttings),
Gives them a nice burst of growth.

There is a major problem with sprayiing it on Buds,
It seems that THC is "oil" soluble!!
Spraying Neem oil on the resinous flower tops, dissolves the resins.
That sugary, crystaloid look, will disappear, instantly.
One week is not enough time to replace the resin's .

The Neem does not seriously remove the resins, it simply spreads them out , over the bud and leaf.
Potency will still be great. but the resin glands will no longer be visable.

Neem is a plant extract, sorta like a licorice taste,
spraying it on the plants before harvest, will affect the taste of the plants, and may make it harsher.
Neem should be applied every day for 7 days , if there is an insect or fungus problem.
The last week before harvest seems a bad time to treat with neem,
I know it has been claimed to enhance the final product.
If that were true, every grower would be dosing the plants.
But that is not happening .

it will mess up the taste of the nugs at this point, although the mold won't taste good either. You will be better off making hash really.

i hit my plants every week with neem. they just started flowering a week ago so now i go in and apply with my fingers to every leaf and leave the buds alone. Just spray your hand and apply it to the fan leaves. This should help out with your pest problems and shouldn't affect the actual buds if done correctly.

I would say you still have up to another 3-4 weeks
The pistils are still mostly white hairs, not very many are red.
The resins have not really poured out yet
And the buds can still make a thicker bud.

However the infestation, may have slowed the growth.
So you can treat them, or yank 'em.
It is foolish , to try to analyse fom a few photos .
You are the only one, that knows the plants well enough to make that type of decision.
Here is one bud that had still 2-3 weeks before harvest

Notice the "Red Hairs"
If you are planning to harvest, defiinitely begin a Clearing or Flushing program for the final week, This will prevent the smoke from being severely harsh.

You still have time to treat them with Neem , but you will need to wait about 3-4 weeks before harvesting.
Most growers wait until the red /white hairs are 50/50 .
You can always take some stash now, and treat the rest of the plants with Neem.
When you hear about a harvest every 9 weeks, that is usually the indica variety, under ideal conditions, and CO2 enrichment.., and they begin with a well rooted clone.
To get rhe clones up and ruinning is another 2 weeks added into the 9 week equation for maturity

The difference, is the extra 3-4 weeks iwill change "real good" weed into "the best " thast most non-growers will ever smoke.
yuk yuk
which is what you are really all about.
