Neem/white oil application

Hey guys. Just wondering if it's a necessity to add wetting agents to Neem or white oil? I've got a bunch of chilli's/tomatoes and aphids/mites are going insane this year.

I've been spraying with Neem oil but it runs straight off and leaves no residue. It's not effective in the least.

Should I pick up a wetting agent, or switch to a better pm medium?

Cheers guys. I asked at me local Bunnings but they had no idea what a wetting agent was lol. We don't have that specific brand here, but is there any specific compounds to watch out for when using dish soaps, or can I just pick any as a substitute?

It's to break the surface tension of water on medium. It helps foliar sprays stay on the leaf surface instead of rolling off. You can do likewise with feeding in peats or bagged soils.

This. I have seen peat soils go hydrophobic. Dish soap was a save.
