Negative Ion Generator

Well, got my seeds and now I'm focused on my next but load of cash to waste.
I'm only doing a single plant, but I can't afford ANY smell. Carbon filter is out of the question because my system doesn't have an intake/outtake.[+lazystoner]

Will that be an adequate odor control system?
or am i REALLY gonna have to get off my ass and go build a DIY carbon filter >_<

go on ebay and search for ozone machine, it creates O3 ion that basically does to air what H2O2 does to water - it oxidises anything in its path - so too much can be a bad thing, but from my experience the reasonably priced ozone generators do not produce enough to be harmful - this will vary on the size of the growing space.

If you don't exhaust or intake any fresh air, your plant is going to be scraggly and might actually die. Also, those ozone generators need to be OUTSIDE your grow room, or in the ducting. If left on in the grow room, they will kill your plants too. You MUST have intake and exhaust in the equation. Without that.......

haha well I don't smell here all that much at all, maybe its the strain, just one plant...

I recall my first event years back did smell quite alot

It's not an ozone generator. And there is plenty of fresh air going through the grow room. So a NEGATIVE ION GENERATOR will kill my plants?
If I place it outside my grow room, will it handle the smell?? AND not kill my plants?



these answers are confusing. Is a Negative Ion Generator a Ozone generator? I read that they are quite different.

Lol, well I'm grouchy. I haven't had any money to smoke. =[ I don't have an income and im spending all my moola on these accessories for my grow. [pot is becoming too expencive to just buy.
I guess if I don't get an answer, I could always send it back lol. The thing is, I live with my little bros. My mother told me that as soon as she smells it, and it becomes quite clear its there shes ripping all my shit out lol. Fucking resession. I wish I could get my own place-.-


So does anybody know? Nutrilizing smell...

Looks good to me..but it is an advertisment..

I use one of those ionic air purifiers when smoking and cooking onions and stuff. They work amazingly well. Can't smell anything when it's running.

Haven't tried it for a grow though, wouldn't wanna push my luck, but I wouldn't be surprised if they work well for a small grow.

At the very least you can use one at first and if it's not enough then go with a carbon filter for most of the work and just run the ionizing air purifier for last bit of cleanup.

Definitely put 'em outside the grow box though, as they do produce some ozone.

There's the answer I need lol thanks man. Well if it works for smoking then it seems logical it might work for my one-plant-at-a-time set up.
I'll probably put it next to my door.
