New beans

I just set some new beans up, white widow x big bud, and blue widow. Has anyone grown these strains? What do you think?

I've grown WW before so they shouldn't be to different. I read that if you let Blue widow go until frost , there is more blue. Anyone experience this or have an explanation why the cold makes it turn blue. ( the cold makes me turn blue but for another reason ).

running a room at 52* or less will make more that 70% of strains turn "purp" or blue, black, gold... depends on genetics... i am unclear as to the specifics of the blue widow as to its tendency to turn blue at low temp... though i have heard it likes it high p and k not so much mag/cal... good luck, happy growing!

hey chucky, can you give me reasons why they are "crap"? Potency, yield,etc. ?

you ever see those strains on a menu in a dispensary? no. they are weak and lack flavor. they are not proven genetics. they are seed freebies from attitude. ever hear about a killer cut of those strains you mentioned? no because they suck.

...just the facts please, restrain yourself if you can from all the negativity. I don't know how its done in Tacoma, but here in RI we are compassionate with our brother patients.

nope, that boy (?) is all about negativity... why he feels like haunting the rhode island thread i'll never know, but i have a suspicion that he has alienated all of his fellow patients/caregivers and what-not in tacoma already... and not a huge surprise either, with attitude like that... just like a newb...

Man I was all pumped about the sour cream ive been growing but im gonna have to eliminate that one. Tga Subcools Qleaner is atleast one nd a half times more crystal content then the creams and its only day 28. Im thinking Ill stick with his strains for a while except for a randomn plant or two here and there. If the plant continues the way it has Im stoked. Even the "unhappy" in veg of the same stain is equally as crystally.

give that sour cream some more time... crystal does not = potent...

Yeah i couldn't recall that fact. Growing in the summers a bit of a pain in the ass, the last place I was at I was in the basement now I'm on the first floor. Even with vented hoods and lights on during the night the temp in one room averages 87 degrees bit they they still look fine.

My summer buds are never as tight and dense as the winter time. I usually harvest my last crop by mid June (July 5th this year) get my room cleaned, updated, plant new seeds for new winter strains and start flowering again by late August. The 2 month break from flowering keeps me sane, I don't get burned out anymore and there's enough to do in that time anyway because I still keep my veg room going.

I've grown out several white widows from different breeders (GHS, Nirvana, Ceres, White Label and a few clones from other patients) and they were all different. Might as well have been different strains because it seems like every breeder has a WW.

Hows it going or growing haha. Im a new caregiver looking for as much info as possible. I currently using a 400w Metal Halide with blueish whiteish tint for vegging and im gonna switch it to a 400w buld with redish orange tint. Is that going to be good enough? And what do you use for nutes? Im thinking about using the foxfarm line with molasses or some cal-mag??

Just reading your thread and I've grown the O.G.Kush and its one of the nicest. Got 2 phenos- and the taste as well as the high is fantastic.I add some tricks that I won't give out but that taste is like a hash I smoked a long,long time ago. Attitude seeds run some decent promos and they only go by what some "seedbank" tells them their seeds are gonna be. Sooo-IF they are being lied to then guess what-we get inferior seeds. I found my favorite seedbank "Nirvana" and "Mr.Nice" seeds are the absolute most dependable groups out there so far. That W.W. is anything like the Wh.Rhino then get ready for some gd weed but yeilds are down there with some shitty people who seem to be from outta stateOR outta mind of Lil'RHODY
