New closet grow

k i started growing these two plants about 6 days ago. I have a 400W MH bulb (whatever the one is that is bright white) and it hangs vertical over the plants about 8 to 10 inches away from the plants. I really want to be able to hang the bulb horizontally over them so they can get more exposure. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could do this. heres a pic of my light. got any ideas on how i could hang my light sideways.

If you make a circle around the bulb with your plants you will get good coverage. Other then that i would buy a hood, unless you wanted to rig some ghetto shit up with bailing wire

There are only two plants I don't believe you can make a circle. Please look at the new updated pictures. Any other ideas of anything I can add to this first grow.

You can buy a reflector that will hold your light horizontally, they are about $30 online or at your local hydro store.

Yes I went out and made a make shift hood for about 25 bucks if you look at the updated pictures you can see I fixed the light issue. My other question Is what else can I do to improve this closet in anyway am I missing anything? Example: Mylar or reflective paper along the walls, my friend said with the walls painted white I shouldn't waste my time?
