New England OutDoor: Need Advice from RIU Community

So this is my first post on here... Would love some advice from you guys.
I have been researching strains/seedbanks to use for an outdoor 2013 grow, however it has become difficult for me to choose.
Looking for 2 Strains.
Location- New England Area
I am most importantly considering Yield & Potency; but I have no clue if the strains will finish on time. I know indicas would be more suitable for my climate.
Ease of growing is also beneficial as this will be my first.
This year I will be running Fem seeds, so that is a factor also.

So after weeks of looking around on the internet... i have narrowed it down to some particulars.

DNA Genetics and RP:
Attitude is running a promo in Jan, & free seeds is always nice.
So : Chocolope? Kushberry? Not sure of finishing times of any of these strains, could use help.

What I have been leaning towards is Dutch Passion:
Frisian Dew & Hollands Hope. Not sure how strong these guys are, but I think they would finish on time?
Maybe Jorges Diamond or Passion or anything purple?

TGA:
Heard a lot of good about TGA, so
Agent Orange ... any other recommendation?

Serious seeds :
Ak47,Biddy Early,Chronic, Bubblegum

These are the seedbanks/strains I have narrowed down if I were to make the choice myself without any prior knowledge.
Hopefully you guys could help shed some light on them, or even just suggest good plant strains that will finish on time.

Thankyou!

AK47 is always a winner for me never used serious seeds myself but a good friend of mine who`s been growing ages always go`s for them 1st.

I heard that Dutch Passion had a strain called AK420 based on what I`ve seen "think different" an auto that was based on ak420 produce I would say that AK420 must be a real heavy hitter but I`ve never got hold of any bean`s of it myself.

Early skunk will normally flower once the days get down to 14 hours and it`s veg`d up a bit it`s a very hardy plant and I`ve heard of people keeping it alive even in cold weather personally I`d not expect any growth to happen under 12c but I hear people say as long as early does not get frozen it won`t die.

Chocolope is supposed to taste amazing but I`ve never grown it myself

I have no idea what your weather is like but as long as it`s over 16c and your getting sun for over 12 hours a day you should be fine to grow.

Start out as early as weather will let you when the plants get to a decent size you can flower them by using something to cover them each day give them 10 to 12 hours of sunlight then cover them till the sun go`s down.

It`s a bit of a hassle but it`s better then having a plant start flowering late and then watching it get killed by ice or snow and ending up with nothing to show for all your work also the sun is free and bin bags or a black tub cost way less then setting up an indoor grow.

what my mum does is germ a seed or 2 in the winter and keeps it in a very small pot under an 11w or 30w cfl she lets the plant grow a bit and just keeps it alive that way as soon as the weather gets nice she dumps it outside in either a 30L or 60L grow bag and just waits to see what happens, last year she got a monster out of a bag seed but it got mildew :(

Good luck man watch out for mould and bugs.................

Thanks i appreciate it,
I just want to make sure if i went with something like ak47 it would finish in time accordingly with the shorter season

Well serious seeds is a 9 week flower so add 2 weeks for any problems so you`ll want 11 weeks of nice flowering weather and what 2 to 4 weeks veg ? Just germinate the seeds by the window and get them outside as soon as the weather gets decent when do your nights start staying above 12c ?

I would germinate 2 weeks before when ever your nights warm back up and I`d go with 30 to 60L grow sacks to finish in probably start in 2L pots if going from seed and starting inside. If you have a nice window that stays around 16c to 26c then you could just grow them in 2L pots till the weather got good enough to keep them outside

Should be pretty easy, you might find that you need to cover the plant to flower it if you have a lot of light pollution or your day`s are long there I know in the uk we get 16 hour days all summer so some people have to induce flowering.

I see no issues man I`ve seen snow covered mountains with poly tunnels growing weed in them, my granddad in Cyprus grow`s many exotic plants but as he is half way up a mountain he gets extremely cold conditions in the winter but he covers everything with clear plastic sheets and most of it lives.

But just to be on the safe side may I suggest another strain ? Positronics Seeds Critical #47

It`s flowering time is a bit less then SS AK47 but should give you that same kind`a high they say it flowers in 55 days so about 2 weeks less then ss ak47 sounds like it was made for you man lol
