this is my grow room, i just transplanted these two PPP seedlings from there rapid rooters to there final pot, they are 5 days old, how are they looking? im not sure on the lighting im using 4 60 watt cfls right now and a 20 watt fluroecent tube, will they be needing more? Do i need a fan in here with only two plants? Any advice is greatly appreciated thanks dudes..

You will be very happy with your PPP. I am! I dont see any pics but you will need more light for flower time and you allways need a fan blowing. It circulates the air and exercises your plants so the stems get nice and strong so they can hold the bud without bending and falling over.

the more light the better. try to aim for around 2000 lumens per plant minimum. get 100 or 150 watt cfl's. cool blue lights for veg and warm white for flowering.

ligting is your big problem.

first, have you checked to see if your bulbs are actual or equivalent watts? you want to be adding up actual watts, equivalent watts mean nothing except they confuse people into thinking they;re getting more light than they are. the 60 watt cfls are probably equivalent watts.

all that said, you want 75 actual watts for every square ft of growing area.

yeah they are equivalent, can someone give me specific lighting necessary for cfl of two pure power plant for veg, thankyou

there's no exact magic number, but you should aim for 2000 lumens per square foot. some people say 50 watts or 75 watts actual power per square foot, but there are a lot of variables that affect the numbers. the plants love a lot of bright light, and will thank you for it. summer daylight sun is around 10,000 lumens per square foot, so if you can get up to that, you're in good shape.

the 75 watts per square ft is how much you need for flowering. just take the floor space you think the two plants will take up when mature and multiply by 75. thats how many actual watts you need.

you need less for veg but would benefit by having the same amount as for flowering. i don;t know the minimum amount for veg.
