New Grower; Needs Advice, Please.

Well, I haven't officially started growing, but I have all the ingredients to start a successful grow (I think.) I started of with Ocearn Forest as my soil and in conjunction I am using Open Sesame, Cha Ching, and Big Bloom. In addition, I also have Tiger and Big Bloom both for the vegatative and flowering process.

I have flourescent lights (T12's) about 3300 per lumen, and I have HID lighting for the flowering phase (a thousand watt system). As far as seeds, I have ordered Northern Lights, Master Kush, and Durban Poison.

Are these seeds easy to grow for beginners? Do I seem like I am missing anything? I have a big area to grow in, and I am starting off with about 30 plants. Any advice would be much appreciated.

What sort of ventilation did you have in mind? Outside,inside?

1) You’ll need to buy grow big for growing, tiger bloom’s for flowering.
2) Dump the cfl’s and use mh’s for growing: cfl’s do well for stunting the growth of a mother plant.
3) 30 plants and one 1000 watt system, I think you’ll need about 4 more.

I agree that 1x1000w light for 30 plants is just not going to cut it. You are going to need at least 2 more, maybe a total of 4. Your nutes sound good, and you can grow with the T-12s in veg. But get some more lighting for the flowering stage.

It is going to be inside.

I do have grow big. Sorry, if I didn't indicate that. I may sound dumb, but what are cfl's and mh's? Also, I do intend on getting another thousand watt system for flowering.

According to dailysmoker.com durban poison does very well under artificial lights and it says northern lights is very easy to grow.Check out the site.

Thank you for the information! It's much appreciated. My intention with ordering seeds especially during the first 5 grow cycles is to purchase seeds that are easy to grow with high yields.

I will check out that website you recommended.

NL and Durban Poison are quite easy and I don't know specifically bout the Masterkush, but I never saw a Kush thats hard to grow...
As mentioned before 30 plants might be a lot for a 1kW System. Especially if yor're growing all of 'em from seed it won't cut it.

You want real advice don't grow 30 plants your first time because when you fuck up 30 plants that's a pretty big loss. I would recommend atleast a trial run.

ive read the using ffof to start your seeds in can burn them pretty bad..id get a seedling soil..if youre into fox farms they have light warrior for seedlings.

Originally, I didn't want to start off with 30 plants; however, due to the large amount of space I have I figured 30 plants wouldn't be such a problem. But you're right. And considering this my first grow, I will take this advice very seriously and possibly start off with a trial run.

I wasn't aware of that. I will look into it.

Grow 3. Then take clones off of them and veg them under a T5 while you are seeing how yours turn out.
