Hi All,

I was wondering if some of you more experienced growers could help this newb out.

This newb is growing sharksbreath from seed in canna coco with 2 gallon smart pots.

Using canna a/b nutrients with rizotonic at about 500ppm on 3 week old seedlings under a 600 watt HPS with cool tube reflector about 16" from the canopy.

Temperature is a little on the high side at about 90F (30degC) but he is using CO2 at 1600 ppm so it should be ok.

There are three pics of three different seedlings. One is the picture of health and the other two are at different satges of this problem...whatever it may be.

Basically new growth is yellow along with yellowing at the leaf margins of the older growth.

Anyone have any suggestions? Its his his second grow and first time in coco. Plz help. Thanks

I think you should add some nitrogen to the plants, looks like its lacking a bit of nitrogen. its not bad yet but could get bad. also those brown edges usually indicate heat stress, my room gets hot as well, it really wont harm the plant unless its really starting to turn brown (burn). If only some of the edges are like this dont worry, just move the lights further away if you can and get some good fans going in your grow area.
