I live in small town Midwest USA. I grew up here but lived in the city and a tourist trap vacation spot for most of my adult life. Im like 40. I recently moved back to my hometown. Good buds are hard to find here and if you find them, you pay through the nose. My solution is a small basement grow.
I haven't ever ordered seeds. I had saved about 15 seeds I have found loose in bags here and there over the past couple years. The first 2 were from when I lived in the city. Those were legit. 1 was cheese. The other I had found in the carpet in my apartment up there by my computer when looking for a small screw I dropped. It was a citrus smelling and tasting sativa. My girl loved that one. Should have cloned it but I didn't know shit and didn't know if she would let me continue growing.
Next batch were seeds from around here. I found 8 in a bag that a guy said was snow cap that obviously wasn't snow cap. I think he saw sc on the bag and thought that. I know another guy that gets from the same and he says yeah it's the same poorly cured gsc crosses he gets. My first 3 beans were all male. 1 was from a different bag marked monster cookies. It was a male too. I cloned it successfully. Pitched all the mature plants and started over.
Started 4 more. Put that clone under floresant likes that I start seeds under so he grows slow. Not ready for him yet so I'm trying to save him for later.
Here's where I am with the other 4. I mostly use fox farm cause I can buy it at a small local buisness.
