Ok so im moving into a new house im about to buy good area seems nice. Now im getting a 3bed and i have a extra room that i was maybe starting a grow room in but i dont want the house reekin of sweet aromas and i also have a 1 year old. So my dilemma is this; should i do it in there or build a shed in the back yard and start there and any tips are useful

Build a shed... Why I understand, imagine how most of society would look at a grow inside same house as a one year old.... That doesn't even sound good when I type it...

if you can keep your mouth shut there isnt a problem with the general public knowing what happens inside your house. The kid is 1 not 15, they wont know shit if you keep i locked up and the colorful air pushing outside.

that's one way of looking at it, throwing all caution to the wind....

Some would consider that willful child endangerment.

There ya go OP, two opposite points of view, now you decide. :)

so you consider the public input before you do anything with your child?
Endangerment from what? a plant?
Hope you dont have a gun or any prescription meds in your house, using your rules thats willful endangerment.

Maybe you need to change your view of cannabis and consider it a teaching tool and something to be learned from and studied instead of something to be feared.

read my first post.. see the part that says "while I understand"? I hang with bikers and trust me, public perception is the last thing we care about. I perfectly well understand a grow with children around. I'm simply offering a point of view he might not of thought about.

Now can you get the fuck off of my ass for expressing a point of view, whether I support it or not is another question smart ass....

Go with a shed, you can have it wired to support the number of amps you need. that leaves your spare room for just that, a spare room for company, etc. It also keeps the odors out of your house. if I had that option, I would jump all over it. I think the fact that you mention the fact that you have a one year old means that your child is a concern of yours as well in this endeavor. I'd list pros and cons... if you have the money and yard, a growing shed would be awesome.

I agree on the Shed, especially if it IS an option. You can build it custom to suit your precise needs, tell people you're building a small workshop and it has to be wired with bright lighting and operate heavy power tools for hobby carpentry. No one will question any noise coming from there during setup that way either. Just make sure you have a permit for a permanent structure before you begin and do it all right the first time or have someone else build your workshop even and then worry about the innards. Or have it inspected at least an stamped as an approved impermanent structure or whatever they have to do.. just get it approved by someone official.. I'm just concerned that after it's all said and done someone might try to bring up the fact you built it and someone could come snooping around to either approve or disapprove of it being there and discover what you're up to.

the only downfall i can see with a shed would be either heating in the colder months if it indeed gets cold where you at in the winter, or cooling it in the summer months if it gets hot there.. other than that, a shed sounds like a great option..

Shed for sure, Have three kids...Older now. one year olds r fab., but age 1-5yrs r a handful. And having out of your house is best. U may need cable guy, unknown repairs to inside house, guests, Grandma over etc. Outside with lock door its a tool shed... No problems!
