new idea help

well i had some misfourtune my frist plant died because i killed it. i was adding more lights and droped a bulb on my baby. i was sad but had tons of seeds that were germintaed and planted them. this time i have 3 plants and are hidden in a metal tub that popcorn came in. i poked holes for air flow. got 1 cfl 100watt (accually 26 or something) going to get another so i will have 2. and its all hidden in my chest at the foot of the bed.

metal tub is 13 inched in dimanter and 13 inches tall.

what do you think?
will it get too hot in a metal tub with lights on inside? ther is little ventalation but everyday i take it out for a couple hours to "breath"
how can i bring down the temp?

2 100 watt lights for 3 plants should work in a inclosed area.

after they grow a little i am adding mirecal grow and getting rid of the weekest one.

one foot by one foot might be good for a petunia,,but not 2 pot plants

sorry hotbox,,you asked what do I think,,metal tub 13 by 13,,one plant,,2 - 26 watt cfls,,2 plants to veg,,in a bigger space,,yes,,it will get hot with no venting,,moving in and out to breathe,,20 degree temp changes,,are very stressful on a plant,,you need a slightly larger space,,and some kinda fan to vent hot air,,and supply plant with fresh air,,and get rid of shit it lets off,,and get rid of the heat,,hope this helps

yea i agree with hole, putting them in a metal popcorn thing and then in your chest is gonna cause heat / vent probs. they need constant fresh air & a nice breeze to develop strong stems. plus the area is way too small..and the lights are iffy if its only two 26watts instead of 2 100watts, figure out the precise wattage - you want to take care of your babies, dont cram them in a space barely bigger than 1 foot and expect them to take off. they need love, bro.
