new light! help with venting please

Hey guys just baught a new 1000 watt hps with super sun 2 reflector and 6' hydrofarm fan. This is my first time venting with an hps and was unsure how to hook up the fan to the reflector because it doesn't just slide onto the side.....any ideas?

i prefer to have my fan "pulling" air through my light and then push it out through a carbon filter. i put some small screen on the vent side of the hood i leave open, just to keep anything from getting on my bulb. heres couple pics for reference. theres 4" carbon filters in the box. 1 from the 4" high velocity fan cooling lights(2 x 1000w supersun hoods) and the other for 2 exhaust fans mounted on ceiling above each light. then the box is mounted in the window frame,vented to outside, with the rest of window sealed up, light and air tight. 1st pic is flower room, 2nd is veg room. My 4" growbight fan is cooling both light great, cool to the touch. but i think i have the smaller suppersun.
