Hi,
I'm an ex-pat living in South America. We have great food, great girls and unfortunately normally crappy "paraguayo prensado" (pressed paraguay mix of what is supposedly marijuanna plants, with probably oil and piss too!) when one is unable to obtain flowers.
But things are changing, in the province where I live they have just adhered to the new national law that anybody with permission (I have my interview with a pro-MJ doctor in a few weeks) can legally carry up to 40g of flowers in the street, and can legally grow up to 9 plants in flowering stage. Nobody has specified the size of plants so you can imagine where I want to go with this! I have decided wether I get the permission or not (should be easy) I am already going to become a grower. And I want to do things right, make the best quality I can.
Costs here are expensive, much of the products and materials for making grows are very low budget. Seed banks are very dubious. I'm importing seeds, tents, lights, fans etc... and the price paid still ends up cheaper than anything similar in local market (where a 3x-4x markup is charged!). I expect to be seeding in around 2 weeks.
Look forward to sharing my progress with you all, and hope many of the pros here can be a guiding hand.
Cheers!
