hi all just found this forum and it rocks... ive been reading about growing for sometime now and im looking to have a crack at heath robinsons flooded tube, it looks unreal has anyone else had a shot at this and did they recieve the same results?

i was not expecting to get the same results just half i think 2 gpw is amazing if i got 1 gpw i would be happy

Expensive undertaking if you do it right. But with help and a little know-how it can be done. Planning and patience with some persistence can achieve a great deal. I hope you try it out, and succeed. I've seen the videos and the plans. Interesting to say the least. Personally I'd rather stick to what I know best, my little room and my pots and foil. I heard of a guy who tried this out in a derelict silo but only got rats and a fire.

You may want to do just a couple really basic soil grows before taking on such a complicated system...a soil grow will get you familiar with the plants...issues, nutes etc. I've been growing in soil for a few years and am just now considering a more sophistcated system.
