I am prepping for the summer and am looking to move my plants outdoors for the short summer that I have access to in AK. My card limits me to 3 flowering plants and 3 vegging plants. I plan to do 3 autos to start the summer that will be started indoors and finish when the non auto plants begin to bud. My season is short and the weather is cool, what would you guys recommend for genetics for autos and for my other 3 plants? I will be using a hoop house most likely and am thinking 100% indica plants will do best for the non autos, not sure of a specific strain yet, please leave your comments, and have no idea about anything to do with autos, so please leave advice about that as well.

I have not yet secured a location for my outdoor grow yet, but may only be able to see the garden 4 times a week, so if there are plants that dont need as much attention please keep that in mind with your suggestions as well. Thanks!

There are some fast flowering kush strains. I'd plan on 8 weeks for a flower period. Haven't tried autos. I'd say Afghan if you can find some good seeds or clones.

Auto afghan kush ryder is a really easy to grow strain my first time growing autos and I choose them after some research check it out in my links. Gl in your decision, and im sure you could get away with doing a few extra plants grow 2 in each pot or something even so you get more buds just plant in a huge pot!

wow, the multiple plants in one pot thing is genius I cant believe I didnt think of that. So, maybe like 3 autos in a 7, or 10 gal pot might work nice. Ill read up on the afghan KR, nice suggestion!

You'd be better off sticking to one plant in each pot. Treat it right and 1 plant will fill your pot up nicely and give a good yield..

I grow Strawberry Diesel.. Nice Sativa that is very very hardy.. 8 -10 weeks flower.

super bom strain was it grown in or out...

i dont think that would a smart ideah u dont want the roots to suffocate each other

ok, I agree now about the one plant per pot thing. Is the strawberry diesel a good outdoor plant? I dont think I have 8-10 weeks, hence why I am focusing on autos of super fast flowering plants like critical plus(6-7 weeks flowering).

I know massive plants can be grown apart but i was just saying in his situation were he has a plant limit that he could plant multiple plants together to make it look like one big bushy one. I did it mostly because were i grew it is a little hotter in the summer so the plants seemed to shade each other. Gl with whatever u do but was just trying to help with some different kind of outlook. You can only plant a certain number but you can plant double or triple that grouping them together.
Cheers!

Being as close to British Columbia as you are, I would be researching the types of strains growers in BC have been successfully cultivating for generations...

These other guys suggestions seem like shots in the dark IMO...

Look into Canadian seed banks, with strains breed for short seasons.

Next generation seed co comes to mind. Many many others as well out there.

personally i would go with another seed co, Next generation seed co has terrible germ rates, based on personal experiance and read a couple of posts on the web..
