Greetings! After lurking for awhile I decided to finally register. I'm in the west Michigan area, Muskegon county to be exact. I'm looking for a cert clinic. Like many I have not visited a doctor in several years due to the lack of insurance so I have no recent documentation for my issue.. I have scoliosis (curvature of the spine) which leaves me with daily pain in my back, neck and hips. I also suffer painful muscle spasms. I need some help...soon. I appreciate any info anyone can give me.
A little background: I used to smoke recreationally back in the day. I quit when adult responsibilities took over and I built a family. I wasn't against smoking or use in general, I just had different priorities. A friend of mine found me in severe pain one day upon a visit and offered some smoke. At first I declined, then relented. Although my pain didn't completely disappear, it made it more bearable where I was able to actually get the hell out of bed and be somewhat productive! That was the day that I had a serious discussion with my wife and made a decision to seek out becoming a card holder. Now, I just need to get started.
I can tell you that after a hard days work I can eat a bottle of Tylenol and just barely take the edge off the pain. Obviously taking 6-8 Ibuprofen at a time, several times daily is NOT good for your long term health as we all know. This is what I want to rid myself of.
