This will be the first run done entirely under Samsung F strips.
The veg area (24"x39") has 6 3000K strips running at 100 watts total, running in parallel off a Mean Well LRS-50-24 power supply. The Flower area (24"x48")will have 12 3000K strips running at 200-300 watts.Nice! How many and how do you have them wired? About to pull the gun on the F strips myself
same color temp for both ?The veg area (24"x39") has 6 3000K strips running at 100 watts total, running in parallel off a Mean Well LRS-50-24 power supply. The Flower area (24"x48")will have 12 3000K strips running at 200-300 watts.
For now. I may switch some 4000k into the veg area, if I get a chance.same color temp for both ?
No idea of the original source - I got them free from a local grower who accidentally let a male pollinate his grow, so they are actually Black Gorilla second generation (F2) Hopefully I can find a keeper pheno that I can back cross and stabilize.farmhouse genetics?
i have half of my flower room, a 4x4 section with 4 plants and 16 f series strips. when i find my killawatt i will know for sure, but they should be pushing 800 watts. the plants are incredibly more bushy and full then the 4 plants beside them under a 600 hps.
in the future i may run the same strains under both lights at the same time. but it is looking more and more like the strips are going to out yield the hps. we will see.
btw, my strips are 3000K and 3500K. the added blue that the hps does not have really makes for thicker, bushier plants imo...
Just curious, why not simply use feminized seeds? Was it due to availability or accessibility? Just seems like it'd be cheaper and also you'd know the gender. I'll probably look this up now, but are there trade-offs with feminized vs. non-feminized?Hopefully at least one female in the bunch. I dropped four seeds but one didn't crack.

These seeds were a freebie - I got about 250 of them.Just curious, why not simply use feminized seeds? Was it due to availability or accessibility? Those are some awesome odds! May the Growth be with youThe last batch I popped for the solo cup grow-offs, I got 8 for 8 females.
I know right? I even contacted the guy I got them from to find out if they were feminized or not, but he said he's gotten a bunch of males already from them. I should bought a lottery ticket....Those are some awesome odds! May the Growth be with you
