New Samsung LM301H

I've posted this elsewhere in the interwebs, but thought I should pass it along to the RIU crowd too in case it was missed. Samsung, on 11/21, announced that they're coming out with a new diode called the LM301H. Shipping is supposed to start in 1Q 2019. RIU won't let me post a link to the press release yet, but it and the new diode data sheet are easily found online. According to the release, it will have an efficiency of 3.03 umol/J compared to the LM301B which comes in at 2.92 umol/J. The improvement of 3.76% isn't groundbreaking, but significant. Better start saving your shekels, fellas, because a new crop of QBs is surely on the way.

Yeah Stephen from hlg talked about these a while ago it should be a cool led but the output you are talking about is from the 6500k color no one uses that much blue

I see this thread's old now, but I was wondering if anyone's seen a product running the LM301h yet?
I compared the data sheets from samsung and call me cynical if you will but I got the feeling samsung had taken note of how many people are using LM301b based horticultural lights and pretty much just started selling LM301bs under another designation, and using the PAR and photon efficiency figures to sell them instead of the luminous efficiency figure.
As another member mentioned, the very high photon efficiency figure is probably just on account of it being based on the 6500K chip.
Thoughts anyone? Does anyone know the photon efficiency in umol/j for the 6500K LM301b?

Bump again... I'm even more suspicious now... check out page 6 of the 301b and 301h datasheets. the flux range for each flux bin for both chips is the same. also the spectral distribution charts on page 13 are identical. Am I missing something?

I believe the only difference is in the coatings on the diodes to reduce sulferization.
