New seed company info

I was given 2 test batches of seeds by a seed bank here in BC from a new grower to grow and test. I was given no information other than the names of the strains. I dont know if there feminized or regular and nothing about the strains. The seed company is Med-Man Seeds and the 2 strains I was given were, 13 - Purple Rockstar Kush and 13- Pain Killer seeds. If anyone has any info on these strains please let me know. Im a new grower and would like to know if these strains need any extras or just basic tips. Thx everyone for any help.

well I plan on doing my first DWC grow once my CFL cabinet is free in about 30 days .so Ill use one of the new seeds in that and ill let you all know how it does with a journal. Thx killer

well I found the grower on youtube and got a message to him,lol. The Purple Painkiller seeds are (OG kush x with purple Ghani mother) x with a (og kush x with F2 male) . The Purple Rockstar seeds are purple Painkiller mother x with rockstar kush Male. Just thought I would throw that up. Thx for looking and trying to help.

I just registered with this forum after seeing this message.
I got the seeds as a bonus after they screwed up my order.
Med Man won loads of awards for these.
Both of the highest quality you could want. Almost perfect smoke, but a little slower than I like and moderate yield. I gave these (and OG Kush) my highest ever rating on anything I have tried or grown.
I only got 2 females of the Rock Star in the end.
Did not keep a mother because they were non-fem and I was maxed out for space. I got a few seeds on one plant, self pollinate or possible crosses with another of my strains. I knew these seeds would be female so I designated a mother and I now have one of the first clones looking stunning a few weeks from flower. Very excited to try this.
These old land race Afghanistan's are among the finest in the world. True "Kush".
I see also that Vancouver Seed Bank now has these seeds for sale, so I will be grabbing some more.

Were your two Med-Man strains regular? If so, do you remember the male to female ratio? Those with serious pain issues say his gear works wonderfully, and it's just as good, if not better than any other breeder's. You're fortunate to have been a recipient.
