so the time has come for my small winter grow op.
this is a picture of one of 3 new plants i have started. the strain is white widow, it is being grown in soil using minimal nutrients and CFL lighting. i will be keeping posted throughout the growth of these three over the next couple of months.

Good luck on the grow. Dont let your little buddy get potbound in that little cup. I just had a couple seedlings in cups and they were in definite need for bigger pots. They wern't much bugger than yours too....

well i germinated about 9 days ago, all 4 cracked in like 2 days, ready at 3, that one sprouted on the second day in soil and another the next day, one didnt work out and one is still in there... probly not going to work... but thats ok... as long as one of the 2 is a female, i love one plant ops... more love for one plant... n e way i am going to be switching it over to a half gallon pot soon and thats it for now... ill change it over to a gallon or maybe a 5 gallon later.

yea i was going to get a mh bulb and balast but they are hot and bulky and i have limited space. so after seeing a few clips on cfl growing it seemed worth it... and its cheap and obviously works perty good.
well heres the light hood setup i rigged together.

No offense but those reflectors don't look that efficient. I could be mistaken though. The bulbs look like they protrude to far away from the dish to reflect any light inside the dish.

were eache of the 2 bulbs from the 2 different ones are close is were the cups are, its quit nice actualy... its basicaly just something to hold the bulbs. each bulb gives off 1700 lumens so its perty good untill i get my grow light hoods and my hps.

Guess its a trick of the camera. Looks pretty badass. Im saving up cans right now to make soda reflectors. We will see how that works. Good luck with your grow keep us posted!

I would reccomend vegging that for about a month in that l;ittle cop..and then transplant and sitch to flowering..alot of people get scared cus they think mj will rootbound quickly..but I find it rootbounds faster when theyr vegged in an akready big pot..then thats just a waste of space..it would do good..just water more times...and "massgae"the cup to break up the copmpacted dirt and aloow more air to the roots...
