New setup, again.

Been out of the game working for a caregiver as an assistant for a while, but I'm back.

My roommate and I are both medical, so we can have 12 plants blooming and 24 vegging with seedlings not counting against the veg numbers. w00t

Veg is built. We have:

- Two 6-bulb t5 fixtures over a 5 foot x 5 foot table for bonsai moms and what are legally referred to as "seedlings."

- One Nanolux 600w powering a 600w hortilux blue in an aircooled hood.

Air is pulled through a hepa and pushed through the hood and ducting and out of the house. (This will be the airflow for bloom too.

We have all of the gear and are now just skinning the bloom rooms and preparing to assemble the gear. One bloom for me and one for him.

The blooms will each have two 1000w aircooled Hortilux HPS bulbs covering a 5 foot by 10 foot room and be powered by the 'Energy Station' 1000x ballasts from Allstate Garden Supply. I build a 2x4 flip with a couple of relays I ordered from the interwebs and some gear from the orange place. Where I diverge from most of the DIY flips is I dont use outlets for the lamp cords. It is not a good idea to do. I instead used some actual lampcord that hydrofarm sells.
(Your local growshop can order these if not in stock. DONT PAY FULL LIST! If you special order and put the money up front you should ALWAYS get a good discount. At least 25% off list. They don't tie there money up having it sit on the shelf, so they don't get full markup. On top of this dont let them charge you shipping. Chances are they order the 4 or 5k minimum to get free shipping to their shop. Wait a few extra days and have it come on their regular order. If they balk, walk. It's worth waiting a couple of days for your froogle order to come in.)
I run the cords through the proper clamps in the punchouts they don't fray or pull out of the connections in the box. These are usually sold in the next isle over from the circuit breaker boxes.

I had a damaged extension cord that I cut an undamaged length from for the trigger cord. As luck would have it I got about 4 feet from the male plug. I don't have pics of the build, but I'll take pics of the build for the "power station" I plan to build. (small breaker box with some outlets mounted to it with a dryer cord coming out of it. It'll plug in to a 30 amp dryer outlet and power everything in bloom.)

I'll post a finished pic or two of the flip in a few.

The law is 6 or 12 not 6 and 12 so with two patients you can have 12 mature or 24 immature, not both...
