New To Cloning Any Help Appreciated

I have cloned these following advice from the FAQ 7 days ago, done most things right I hope (except making the cut under water), and they are being kept betwenn 70-80 degrees on a shadey windowsill getting approx 17 hours of light.

They look ok to me but how can I tell if they have rooted and are ready to transplant? They don't look whithered and seem healthy but any feedback would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

i never sterlize or cut onder water.

cut add clone jell place in medium spray with water 3-5 times daily under clone dome with very low light 40-80 watt max. in 7-10 days you should be full rooted

another way if you cant see roots is to take your lid off for 10 minutes if it falls over its not rooted if the leaves curl up give it 24- 48 hours.

if they fall over mist and recover them

those leaves touching the inside of your plastic cups are going to turn yellow and eventually die.

If you can mist 2-3 times aday you do not need a dome cover.

In your situation I would cut the cups in half so the leaves do not touch.
I would mist liberally with water a minimum of 3 times a day.

After a week you should not need to mist as much.
Then you will not need to at all once the roots start taking up the necessary water and nutes.

I prefer air flow to a covered dome.
I mist and have a small fan on my clones
I like to set mine on my bathroom floor and about 5 1/2 feet below an incadescent light (60w).
I leave the light and the exhaust fan on 24 and I keep a pc fan going so the air is not directly at the clones yet but moving air around them.

they seem to like the humidity in the bathroom.

Thanks all for you help & advice. Especially you Midgradeindasouth, I will take your advice and cut the cups in half. Fingers crossed I will have some success with my first attempt.
