New to growin Need a lil help with my baby.

ok i have a baby plant 4"to5"inch planted in a soda can filled with playground sand, "all i had". Growin fine. Three qeustions. 1st-when should i transfer? 2nd- When i transfer should i transfer out of sand? 3rd-Will the sand break apart when i transfer? NOTE im not growin it ouside "I messed up'.

tranver as soon to soil mate sand wont do it man

If you transplant when the sand is moist the root mass will hold together better.
