New to growing anything.. noob nutrients question

I’m on a first time grow. I started in ocean forest soil first giving just water and cal mag 5ml per gallon.. being new to everything I didn’t realize I was running out of nutrients and was in veg at least 14 weeks when everything went yellow.. I ended being recommended Floravova Grow from GH… so I stopped with the cal mag and started giving 5ml of the flora nova 7ml molasses and 4ml terpinator until every thing came back green…


running out of room in the tent I flipped to flower and was recommended to use fox farm open sesame, beastie bloom, and cha Ching mixed with the flora series trio from gh instead of floranova bloom.. money is tight so I left with open sesame and beastie blooms.. The first feed was the open sesame 1/2 tsp 4nd cal mag 5ml to the gallon of water.. fed once then gave only water the next time…


since I didn’t have a base bloom fert I ordered pridelands bloom which I top dressed and watered in with a mix of 2 ml of my flora nova grow from veg, 1/4 tsp of the open sesame, 1/4 tsp of the beastie blooms and 1/2 tsp of recharge …
nothing seems to have burned its 3 days later and time to water again.. should I go straight water top dressing once a week and recharge once a week and leave out the Fox farm dry ferts? Should I use the terpinator ? I added some pics to show my poor plants journey so far (sry for the long post)

You could have add a cup or two of fresh FFOF and simply watered in ( top dressing ) - which eliminates the need for multibottle madness.

i used to believe that you needed all these fertilizers too grow the dank because when me and my bro burly started growing good weed indoors we were using boat loads of ferts bro just like you than i started growing outdoors with nothing but water and crappy soil from the ground and i ended up growing some killer buds that way lmfao.

I use floranova grow and bloom with a little calmag coco and sweet raw.

Well, at least the containers are pretty.
As stated above, don’t complicate things unnecessarily. If you’re just starting out, KISS. And if you’re like me, stay that way. I’ve grown with Osmocote, Purple Dynamite, and now am using Dyna-Gro Foliage Pro And Pro-Tekt. All in Pro-mix with tap water. It doesn’t have to be hard.

Most of the strains that I have grown have stretched 50% to 300% during flower. 14 weeks is a very long veg. I think you will have a problem with the plants growing into lights.

Wow, seems like a lots of wasted time.... 14 weeks of veg? Insane.....growing redwoods?
