Some seedling soil (organic if possible)...some pots, and sow them..

Then let the madness (and mad questions) begin...

You'll learn a hellava lot quicker with those babies growing...

Get a damp paper towel, and put your seeds in it. Put it inside two paper plates to block the sun. Leave it there for 24-48 hours, then plant the seed into your choice of soil.

What kind of weather are YOU having there?
Shit I'm running my hid's with the fan off most of the day,
just so I don't have to use a space heater, and I'm in San Diego.
You know it's winter right?

New Orleans is pretty warm. id say 40 low?

He can probably grow a plant to satisfy him. Of course, the plant is going to be great to yourself. u cant have a chef test his own food! lol.

sproud it inside in a small cup/pot under a small CLF (5000K or 6500K if possible) let it develop a little root grow and a few leaf`s before you plant it out (maybe at 2-3 weeks old)

if you want to give it a good start out doors you find the spot you plan to grow it and remove all other grow in a 1 meter diameter around so it don't have to compete with other plants for light/food and so bugs and diseases can`t jump as easily to your plants

dig a hole around 1 foot deep and one foot in diameter and fill it with some good organic soil and plant the new little seedling in it ..

if you want to do even more for it mix stuff like Dolomite Lime, Epsom salt, Bat Guano, blood/bone Meal aso. in to the soil mix

p.s.

find a spot where it get atleast +5 hours of direct sun a day (more is better) if you live a place where high temps can be a problem, plant it in a place where it get morning or evening sun or use a shade doing mid day

if you worry about Ppl./thieves spotting them, tie them down, train em, make em look anything els then weed, hang red pingpong balls on em, what ever, most important, don't go around and brag or tell anybody (get a watch dog and/or a security light that turns on by movement and text you

then either Veg em inside with some CLFs for a few weeks

or keep em in pots and move em indoors at night and give em some more light hours under some CLFs

or go for a early harvest with some smaller plants, maybe just plant a few more so you end up with the same yield, 1/2 foot plants can easily become 2 footers outside with less then 13 hours of light a day and yield nicely

p.s.
I do a 12/12 from seed indoor right now, nice 1-2 foot plants that have begun to flower after 3-4 weeks .. hope to get the same yield from them 12 plants under my 600W then with etc. 4 plants with 6 weeks veg in big pots

p.p.s
outdoors, one of the big advances beside good light is the ground you plant it in, so if possible atleast end it in the ground and not in pots, size of root net = size of plants

if it was me I would start em in cup´s under some 6500K CLFs 18/6 for maybe 3 weeks and then plant em out and let em flower on there own and aim for some small bushes instead of one or two big "trees"
