New to gummies

I am trying to get into the cannabis space however I must be doing something wrong. I take CBD gummies and they have a marginal effect of relaxation. I did try THC gummies however I think I might have gotten anxiety. My hands and feet felt really cold. I am a hypochondriac so notice these things more perhaps. I deal with severe anxiety as well. Any suggestions on what to use? I quit drinking about a year ago and looking for a euphoric edge in all honesty. Am I a lost cause?

P.S, I am trying to avoid smoking it as I do not smoke anything ever.

Thank you!!!

I always try to make my coconut oil with roughly equal parts THC and CBD (local head shop sells CBD isolate by the gram). I do about 1 gram CBD per 7 grams of bud. It's using my homegrown so no idea what the actual ratio is, but anyway I like it a lot better than purely THC edibles. Much less anxious and a bit more "medicinal" effect.

If you have access to both, try taking one of each...?

You Irish or Irish American?

I wouldn't trust the products to be what they say they are in Europe.

Same with the CBD products .. there's 10 shit companies for every good one.

Unpopular opinion here but...
Step one. Stop thinking of weed products as medicinal.
Step 2. See a Dr about your anxiety.
Step 3. Look into the actual reasons weed was considered "medical" to begin with. Nausea, lack of appetite, sleep aid, etc.
Step 4. Repeat step 2 until you find an answer that works.

Many years of use has lead me to see MMJ being the 21st century's version of 1800's cocaine snake oil treatments. Pure profits.

I'm not implying there are no positive effects to it's use but it's not a mystical magic cure all by any means.

Kind of knitpickin there.
A Psychologist is a doctor. I would sooner talk to one of those before consulting a therapist
Sure, if that's what he meant by Dr. But I'd personally still rather talk to a THERAPIST over my primary physician about any anxiety issues I had.

That's your choice. A Dr has a doctorate that they received for 8 years of schooling in their field.
A therapist title can be achieved pretty quickly and cheaply

Edit: Fun fact, a nurse practitioner has to complete the same amount of years of education as a doctor

Just because a title is quick to achieve doesnt mean that person isnt passionate or good at what they do.

It very well could be a personal experience, but Drs pushed pills in my case.

I had a neurologist do the same to me. Bad doctors are just a common as bad mechanics.
I think some of that medicine works for people as long as they don't abuse it. Seems as though it's very easy to abuse.
I also understand that not all medicines prescribed for anxiety are all like xannys and the sort, and that antidepressants help a lot of people.
I don't want to be insensitive to anyone that those have helped.

I dont rate gummies sorry - buy a good herb vape and source product from someone you know and go from there, just don't over do it, don't go for a couch lock, find a strain that's mellow 10-12% thc in my view.......

Different strains are going to have different cannabinoids so unless the edible was dosed with a distillate or isolate there's no way to know what the effects will be regardless of dosage.

Edibles for me just make me feel foggy and drunk. Smoking gives me a much different effect depending on strain. Nothing beats a joint rolled with normal paper.

Diet and exercise should take care of your anxiety.

I a a marathon runner, weight lifter and ride my bike 15 miles a day in the spring and summer. You're right it has been helping overall in life. I just mean anxiety when I take the THC. I don't eat sugar, smoke or drink. Maybe I am too boring lol.

Thank you for your reply :)
