Want to get some feedback on my grow. I have done hydro twice before and failed because of the root rot monster. Bright white roots one day shitty brown stinking the next. Those were in DIY DWC buckets, probably not the cleanest, no meters whatsoever, and dumping nutes in to repair damaged plants poisoning them even further just like a rookie, freshman, new kid on the block, FNG you get my drift.
Soil never been a problem but I want bigger yields. Period. Here's my set up as of right now.
Veg Room
1 CFL fixture with two blue bulbs and a red one. One blue CFL hanging off to the side for supplemental lighting.
In basement temps 72 day and night. I run lights 24 hrs have a small fan blowing the wind around.
The goods. 35 gal DWC with 264 gph pump or very close. Hooked up to 8 sprayers in center of res. 7 gal of water. Sometimes a little more sometimes a little less.
Sensi A&B, average ppm 850, ph swings from 5.5- 6.1 then I adjust gradually back down to 5.5. Molasses mixed well in a gallon mixed in for funsies every now and again.
NO More root rot thanks to aqua sheild and thats it. I have 9 plants, 3 transplanted from dirt 6 from clone.
Flower tent 4x4x8 two 600watt hps and 1 400 watt hps. MH just blew up and I'll be getting another next week. All dirt, 3 are one week into flower, other one just two iChat's ago.
All dirt fox farm open sesame, beastie bloomz, and cha ching.
